Watershed Landcare were successful in the 2010-2011 round of the Australian Government's Community Action Grants! Our project - called the "Sustainable farm practices workshop and field day series" will add value to a number of our established special interest groups, projects and one-off events:

• Grazing Group
• Mudgee Microscope Group
• Native Grasses in Rural Cemeteries Project (check out our new poster on this project!)
• John Feehan - Dung Beetle Guru - speaks at the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days 

The workshops conducted all focus on local landcare issues such as soil condition, biodiversity and landscape function (such as water and carbon cycling).  

As always, we will keep you up to date though articles in the Mudgee Guardian (and though our newsletter if you are a member).
