PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WATERSHED LANDCARE REGION –
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS)
The GIS, developed for Watershed Steering Committee as part of this State of the Catchment
project, contains 30 different layers of spatial data. By selecting various combinations of these
data layers, we produced 12 groups of maps, with some groups having more than one map to
highlight various aspects of the data.
