Joel Salatin coming to Mudgee
Whether you play a role in how food is produced in the region or you are a consumer of this produce – you’ll find Joel Salatin fascinating!
Joel Salatin is a farmer and a real innovator.
Joel farms “Polyface Farm” in Virginia, United States.
The property was first purchased by Joels’ father in the 1960’s, which at the time, was the most flogged out, eroded and unproductive farm in the valley.
The farm now supports three generations.
The farm is a shining example of how food producers can profitably account for the costs of growing healthy nutritious food, in a way that respects farmers, workers and livestock, contributes to communities and improves the health of the landscape.
Head to the following link to see a story about Joel that appeared on ABC’s Landline earlier this year.
